Application Engineer / Senior Application Engineer

As part of Silver Bullion and The Safe House’s growth objectives, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate who will co-develop and manage the company’s IT applications.

 

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Co-manage IT applications

    • Manage and fulfill user requests (issues and enhancements) for Silver Bullion’s IT applications, e.g. Silver Bullion web site, internal applications.

    • Ensure that platforms are resilient and are performing optimally.

  • Develop new IT applications (both customer-facing and internal applications), in partnership with accounting, customer service, marketing and sales departments.

  • Provide recommendations to the team on IT matters.

  • Serve walk-in customers (on occasion) and fulfill bullion orders.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of web development experience (server-side) preferred. Some client-side experience will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • An ability to listen to users’ and customers’ concerns, and respond in a confident and straightforward manner.

  • A knack for effectively prioritizing and scheduling requests.

  • Self-starting with minimal supervision necessary.

  • Owns mistakes and takes responsibility without making himself/herself and others wrong.

  • Experience in the following technologies is required:

    • ASP.NET / .NET / ,NET Core

    • Microsoft SQL Server
